The 1098 User Interface
Borrower returns are entered onto screens that resemble the actual forms. As seen below, if the borrower is the owner of a cooperative, the 1098 user interface can track the shares, period of occupancy, and percentage of maintenance paid.

If desired, Account Ability can use this information to calculate each borrower's share of the annual mortgage interest, real estate taxes, and amortization. The Apportion selection on the 1098 File menu does the tedious work of apportioning each borrower's share of the annual amounts entered on the 1098 Setup page.
