The Electronic Reporting Options dialog interfaces with
each file of Information Returns (1099, 1098, 5498, W2G) and Annual Wage
Reports (W2, W2C).
Simply
fill in the options and click the OK button to create or append a file
that complies with IRS Pub. 1220 or SSA EFW2/EFW2C specifications. Information
Returns are reported in file specification IRSTAX; Annual Wage Reports
are reported in file specification W2REPORT.
