Transmitter (IRS) Information
Account Ability includes Transmitter information when preparing the "T" record of Information Returns (1099, 1098, 5498, W2G) filed electronically. Electronic filers of Annual Wage Reports (W2, W2C) must complete the Submitter (SSA) page.
Transmitter Information
Electronic filers of Information Returns must have a valid Transmitter Control Code (TCC), which is issued by IRS/MCC. If you don't already have a TCC and plan to file Information Returns electronically, Account Ability can assist you in applying for one by preparing IRS Form 4419, Application for Filing Information Returns Electronically.
