The W-2 User Interface

Each filer's returns are entered or imported onto screens that resemble the actual forms. The Mag, W-3, and Printed indicators specify whether or not a W-2 should be reported electronically, included on transmittal W-3, or printed, respectively. Account Ability's Tools menu also includes the option to assign employee Control numbers.
Account Ability's W2 User Interface
The Compute FICA button (or F6 key) can be used to compute an employee's Social Security and Medicare wages and withholding at any time. There is also a selection on the W-2 Tools menu to compute these figures for all employees in the entire file. The Reissue indicator facilitates the job of reissuing W-2s to employees who may have lost or misplaced their originals. Copy A for SSA can be filed electronically pursuant to SSA EFW2 (formerly MMREF-1) specifications.
